This is the course in mathematical modeling which will provides training in techniques of applied mathematics, and focuses largely on mathematical models of real world processes, their formulation in terms of differential equations and linear algebraic systems, and methods of solutions.
This course covers differentiation, integration techniques with their applications to various problems, including graphing of functions in one variable, computing extremal values, lengths, areas, and volumes.
Also, we consider several classes of ordinary differential equations and methods of their solving. Among these classes are separable, homogenous differential equations, exact differential equations, Bernoulli differential equations and linear higher-order differential equations. Besides that, we consider linear algebraic systems and their solutions.
