The course "Logic and Methodology of the Humanities" is an important element of the professional training of graduate students for the direction "Cultural Studies (Theory and History of Culture)", which forms ideas about the specifics of the methods of the humanities. The course program is focused on practical training and independent work. The course introduces students to the theoretical foundations of the logic and methodology of the humanities; the history of the development of the basic methodological principles of the humanities.

Postgraduate students will be able to develop a modern methodological research strategy in their own scientific and qualification work on the training profile "Cultural Studies (Theory and History of Culture)".
The aim of the course is to give graduate students an idea of the humanities as a formed scientific thinking, the main provisions of the logic and philosophy of science, the problems of the development of the humanities and scientific knowledge in modern Russia.
